Last go with current data on the M42

I'm sorry for posting again with the current data that I have on the M42. I've had a another try with my files 8Min subs plus darks. And 3Min files for the core. I've had to increase the red channel as the final picture looked very Blue. I hope that there is an improvement on my last attempt. Any comments very appreciated.

That's a lot better, what did you adjust? How do the colours look? I had to adjust the individual colours to get the image looking better.

Hi Merlin,

Yep readjust the levels for each colors, then apply a smart mask to reduce noise.

When done, copy twice the new image and done the following

- first image mode soft light

- second image on mode screen and reduce opacity to taste

It helps a lot to boost the colors

Then fine tune with selective colors
