Autoguiding again last night, before the clouds rolled in again.

10" OO Newtonian

16x 4 minute subs.

Nikon D300 (Unmodded).

ISO 1000.

Nice result for only 4 subs

Could do with flats to get rid of the uneven illumination, but a very nice result.

Oh Yes, flats is the next thing I need to try next to tweak my images.

From the look of things, you have everything else sorted, and you'll be surprised how much difference calibration frames will make....try doing some, it's not that hard.

Thats good for that length of time. I always love this nebula, very often overshadowed by its bigger blousier neigbour.

Yep flats'l fix things up. Only just mastered them myself and Ive been doing this malarky for 4 years

I've been reading other threads about light boxes etc.

I think I'll start by using an old white T-shirt over the scope first and see how I get on.
