LUMENERA Cable Question / DMK ?

hi,

does anybody know if a cable extention on a lumenera would effect it's performancee or not ?

and if you have a LU or a DMK do you know the name of the cable ?

ie : can you get from PC World ?

Any extension cables you can find available in the shops, whether Firewire, or USB, should be within spec. Anything over those lengths, and you may need a repeater. That said, I've had problems with printers on USB extension cables. I'd go for a decent brand, like Belkin, etc. Also, I get most things from Amazon these days, as it includes free delivery for most items, keen pricing, and saves time driving around.

I bought simple USB 1,8m extension cable for DMK21 and it works without a problem (2,8m total)
