Just came across this unanswered question, and I don't know the answer. What does the acronym LET mean? Appears to be some kind of eyepiece.

Thank you! Sounds like a specific brand model? All the eps I have are either fold up eyecup or no eyecup.

The only ones I have come across are the ones supplied with the skywatcher pro series.

I got an 18mm Meade series 5000 UWA a few months ago (2nd mortgage taken out ). It has a twist up cap - a bit wierd at first, but seems to work quite well.

I don't know if the other series 5000 have the same, as I haven't seen any others. The Pentax XL's might have the same ????
