Local dark sky

Please can anyone tell me if there are any locations dark enough to see the Milky Way in West Yorkshire.

May help you in finding a dark site near you

need-less light pollution

It shows you how dark the sky should appear anywhere in the uk

Guess Baildon Moor would be pretty fair.

Have a look during the day for parking areas, there are a few, then go up at night with eyes and binoculars.

Few side roads off to the left, driving Baildon-Guisley direction, that are cronically lit so will be dark.

Depends on blocking out Bradford.

Could also try the road over to Ilkley.

It depends where in W Yorks you are, it's a big place.
