Mars - 12th December 2009

Another early morning start to look at Mars, sadly seeing was poor so very little surface detail could be seen.

Trivium Charontis (middle left in the drawing) kept popping in and out of view, the North polar cap was very white.

Drawn with a 8" F/6 Dobsonian at x300 at 6am.

Another good drawing there dweller25. Thick fog here this morning,

so no chance of seeing the planet for me.
