M42 and Running Man

Finally got a bit of clear sky to get enough data to make an image. I was pleased to get the running man in the image as well, first image of that. Taken with a DSLR and my home made 200mm Newt. As you can see by the star on the right the collimation is still out, I can get it very close with the laser but It wont adjust that final bit to get it perfect and I don’t know why. This is a very pleasing image with some great detail in the dust region between M42 and M43. Good tracking too.

Thanks guys, John here's an image of the telescope and you can see how it was made in the DIY section under Carbon Fibre Telescope Finished and my mount is an EQ6,,,Paul.

OMG, a carbon fibre telescope. I already have a carbon fibre addiction with regards to bits for my Ducati, and now you show me this......

I really should live under a rock, so that I don't get tempted by this kind of bling......
