my Ist triplet under a full moon

I was at a loss what to image on Thursday as the clouds cleared:) but as usual the moon was big and bright:confused:. I had a go at some M45 subs then when that dissapeared over my roof top and I had had a rare glimpse of some Martian surface detail I realised the Leo Triplet would be visible. So at about 3am I set the beast up to take some 2min subs of the triplet. I got 50 frames in total (would have had another 60 had the guide camera not fallen out of the Meade:mad:).

I didn't hope for much as the moon was so bright and the subs were short, and my lp filter is £30 non labeled 2" jobbie.

However after stacking and processing I am well chuffed with the result.
