telescope outdoors

I keep mine in ventilated shed and had no I'll effects for 4 years now. As long as you keep the lens caps on the scopes and you're fine. Winter is not a problem. A humid summer day can sometimes cause a little sweating on the mirror's lenses in extreme cases. I've rectified this by a few pc fans hooked up to a thermostat for shed ventilation. Works a treat. An even quicker solution is to get some of those dehumidifier boxes (the ones full of white beads that suck all the moisture).
