Daytime moon from yesterday

A brief opening in the sky, just long enough for me to run outside with my gear to snap this of the moon.

Taken with a Canon 1000D in prime focus (figured out the focusing problem) on a SW 127 Mak on a AZ Goto.

Camera set to 1/40 sec on ISO100.

Increased contrast/sharpnes + sharpening filter, free rotation, and exaturated saturation. Cropped for 10x15. (All done in Iranview. GIMP doesn't want to play with the RAW files + keeps crashing all the time).

Very little cromatic abberation compared to the Celetron Astromaster.

Hmmm... really like that shot - and as mentioned, the colour really works for me. Have you got a hi-res image ? I'd be happy to use that as my wallpaper !
