Ok, after much reading, I think I have got the hang of the dreaded DA. Question :- I will be using EQmod to run the EQ6, part of the DA process is to switch the motors OFF to watch the direction of the star. Do you switch the head OFF or use the EQmod to switch the motors OFF ? :headbang:

Hi Bob, I think it would be best to just the click button to stop tracking rather than turn the mount off, then you don't have to worry about re-connecting when you want to start tracking again.:headbang:
