Eyepiece Baader Scopos 30mm 35mm Help needed

Hi :hello2:everyone

Need some information on Baader Scopos 30mm and 35mm and was woundering what they thought and if any one out there has one and have used it on a 8" f/10 or are they for f/5 ?any info would be great

I had the Baader Scopos 35mm " Hand Grenade "

Too top heavy for the F5 10" Dob I was using and and wouldnt balance.

Optically, too many seagulls in the last quarter of the FOV, but may be a better eyepiece in a slower scope

Sold quickly and bought a 42mm Paragon.

Now that is a lovely eyepiece! Lightweight and massive FOV

Optically great (although the night sky is grey not black)

Many thanks for your insite I think my scope will be a little more forgiving being f/10

and I am going over to 2" eyepieces I have a few bits in mind and will share with you all when I get them

To share with you now a few weeks ago I was out and looked through a 14 dob and he let me put a Meade 5000 uwa 18mm 82 FOV the first word out of his lips was I thought I was going to full in, its that big looking at M31 and M101 and Jupiter great night out
