EOS power?

Hello all

I have a modded 350d and it eats batteries I have 3 batteries for it and charge them in rotation when the clouds allow:rolleyes:

My question is this.

Where does one obtain a mains adapter for the camera?

And is it true that a mains adapter adds signal noise?

I have a battery grip but am reluctant to use it as I consider it quite heavy and balancing the meade on a wedge with a piggybacked apo was tricky enough.
