Powering a HEQ5?

Lidl and similar places occasionally have car jumpstart batteries for sale quite cheaply or you can get these on t'internet, at halfords etc and cost from £15 up. I have used one for years, it performs perfectly, lasts ages and comes with its own charger.

Might be worth a look, no trailing leads to the mains and you can even use it to jump start your car!

Well I've just bought a 70 VA multi-voltage PSU that will give 5A at 12V with a choice of plugs. Cost £32 in my local electronics shop.
