Well, after what seems like forever messing with new software, a new CCD camera and finishing the obs, I finally have an image!!

I still have loads of work to do. There are serious issues with the collimation on my Equinox 80, as well as auto-focusing to get working (it seems like my Lazyfocus interface doesn't like my Skywatcher Auto-Focuser). I mucked up the focus on this so it's quite soft, made worse it certain parts by the awful collimation

The good news is that the new obs works great, I can be packed up in 30 seconds, I can even automate it now. Setting up is now really easy since I've figured out how to do auto-alignment using CCD Commander and plate solving. Auto-focusing is the next step then I will have the automation sorted

PS I think this is my first image on here

Camera: QYH8 with Astronomik 6nm Ha Filter

Scope: Skywatcher Equinox 80 with Televue TRF-2008

Processing Software: DSS, Photoshop

Exposures: 20 x 600 secs (3 hours 20 mins)
