M13 : Had a go at a globular for a change.

Always been shooting nebs and galaxies, so thought would try my hand at a globular cluster.

M13 : Great Globular cluster in Hercules.

About 1.5 hours in really poor conditions because of cloud and full high moon.

But managed to get the propeller very clearly which surprised me as I have never actually seen it in other images till now.

Shot with SW Fract ED120 Evostar Pro Diamond 900mm F7.5 with a modded 350D

Sorry that the image has lost a lot of quality due to the JPG comversion, even at highest conversion rate.

A very pleasing result, purple backgnd is easy to alter, jpegs are always worse than tiff but resolution still shows through. John.

Didn't have the time to fully process this image as was at work.

Image times were about 90mins in 5 and 8 min subs with flats, darks and dark flats applied.

Clouds and high full moon to content with.
