IC 5070 - The Pelican

I'm still getting to grips with my new C80ED. With the 0.5x focal reducer fitted, it gives a nice wide field compared to what I was getting with the reflector.

I spent about 3 hours yesterday processing it but some parts looked a little "flat". I then realised that I had made a mistake in the first step - I had moved the white slider in levels (it wont happen again). So today I started from scratch and this is much better (although converting to jpeg has reduced the quality somewhat).

Subs: 20x300s, 12nm Ha filter

Scope: C80ED

Camera: Atik 16ic-s, Atik 0.5x fr

Guiding: ST80, QHY5, Maxim

Processing: Stacked in Maxim, the rest in PSCS.
