Hi rez moon mosaic

This is the first 20 AVI's from 80 I took last night.

best 400 odd frames from each 1500 frame avi, still getting to grips with registax 5 and multi alignment.

Processed on my LCD in the ods so not too sure how it's going to look for you guys.

Eyepiece projection with a skywatcher 10mm ep and 250PX through a red filter and DMK21 @ 30 tps.

The seeing was good but I am having vibration issues with the stepper motors from my (modded for goto) standard EQ6.

the final 80 avi mosaic will only get down just past copernicus.

Goodness that is a lot of work but a great result, and I recognise Crater Pythagoras at the top. Always wondered which is better eyepiece proj'n or barlow, ep is something for me to try. John.

Yes Nick I had forgotten just how much processing time is needed on a hi rez mosaic.

Had I taken a chance with the overlaps I might have made it to the bottom in 80 avi's but the fear of a missing bit forced me into huge overlaps.

Yes, and the moon drops at a rate of arcsecs/min (13 when we did the lunar wr run)..which makes side to side mosaics even harder
