NGC7000-IC5070... Another go after some sleep

I had another got at the data this morning this time after takign the ISO400 Bias and Flat frames that weren't available to be used in the earlier stack...

Combination of 7 hours of Ha @ ISO800 and 4 hours of RGB at ISO400 Stacked in DSS, RGB split in CS3, Registered and Combined in Registar post processed in CS3 and Pixinsight V1.5 and tehn tweaked again in CS3...

I haven't been able to get a version where I have star color and decent detail in the Nebulae perhaps I need to pull the stars out and work on them seperately...

oops no user friendly FTP client setup in Vista 64 back in bit with the pic....

You have some serious contrast there between the dark and bright areas.

Shame about the stars. Is it the Ha part that gets rid of the star colour?

Seems to be as the stars are burnt out in the Ha.... but I have some ideas...

Thats looking better, has a bit of the salmon pink effect though.

Have you tried the Gendler method?

it aint finished yet don't worry the goal was to get subtle star colours back into the image in the last stage...

Ok Gone with the second colour one to become the "signature" image...

I have uploaded a 12.8MB Half scale Tiff here...
