Some 16 bit data for people to play with NGC7000 IC5070

Ok following on from Arran's thread...

I have uploaded Quarter scale 16 bit tiff data for my recent NGC7000 IC5070 widefield image

Here's a "jpeg" comparison... All the stacks were assembled into a single file in CS3 so that the same streches were applied to them all...

This comparison image can be Downloaded at larger scale here

These Tifs are raw stacks just resized no other processing performed on them... these are 3.65MB each...

1x15min 2x15min 4x15min

8x15min 16x15min 28x15min

I will be grabbing Histograms of the unstretched data and adding them to the images a bit later on...

I havent bothered with the color as its eventually going to be combined with RGB ... I guess your using the 28x900s file?

Yes your right. I like to experiment and see what type of colour tones NGC7000 look right in.

Only the stars were recorded in the blue channel but theres a slight image of the Nebula in the green in addition to the stars...
