wow Mars is Small maybe i need x20 Barlow or 20" Scope

now seen all planets except Mercury since started in June

prefer the orange colour shot the most

Still not pointed my kit at Mars yet, but I did get the binos out at ~5am the other night... Got up to let out new puppy out to try and cut down on the number of "accidents" and was very pleased to see Orion just above the horizon, and Venus blazing away too... I fired up astromist on my mobile to confirm that it was indeed Venus and saw that Mars should be in the neighbourhood too! Very exciting, it was the first time I'd seen it since getting into the hobby. The colour was gorgeous, even if it was just a pin *****. { EDIT Lol, obviously too rude a word! You should be able to figure it out }

I'm sure that someone else here can confirm, but atm I think that Mars is still quite a long way out. If I remember rightly it'll be "close" at the end of this year / early next I think.
