Even though the sky looked clear where the moon was, it had

a distinct halo last night.

Yes - the moon had a definite halo around it last night. Where I was there was also a general haziness to the sky.

I set up in hope of being able have a clear night, but after 3/4 hour with no change I packed up. Looks like a repeat tonight.

Keep the images coming, there's a definite shortage at the moment!
