Two things.

I took delivery of my Horizon 8115 Tripod a couple of days ago and attached my Helios Quantum 4 20x90 binos today and found that they rotate themselves around the central stabilizing bar , I have tightened the knurled screw but it still tips left to right , is this normal ? And also the light - Heavy tension rings on the alt/az head of my tripod do not seem to make any difference to the movement of the head wether they are fully tightened or not , anyone with any experience of either problem or is it normal ?

sorry for the late reply,

i have the same tripod with the helios 25x100 and everything tightens ok,

the round adjusters just under the bins and sides tighten as well,

but if no joy i would send it back as mine work well.
