Daylight Moon Viewing

This may sound like a stupid question, but I'd rather be safe than sorry... Are there any constraints to looking at the moon through a scope during the day as there are with the sun? I can't think that there are, but it wouldn't be the 1st time I've overlooked something.

I'm willing to risk being thought of as an idiot, but I'd rather that than be an idiot who's blind in 1 eye :) I'd have to change my use name to Winkity Wonk for a start! :)

No.

A deep red (Wratten 29) and/or polarizing filer helps increase the contrast.

If you can work from the shadow of a building or tree, it helps because the sun's heat on the side of the telescope tube can cause tube currents which ruin the steadiness of the image. Observing over grass rather than concrete, tarmac or house roofs also helps, for a similar reason.
