Jupiter - Io and shadow transit, July 4th

Too many AVI's to wade through this evening so I'm going to call it a night. Here are a few single channel images of Io and its shadow transiting Jupiter. All images were taken through an Astronomik IR 742nm filter except for the one in the upper right corner which was through an Astronomik Type-II Red. The Sun was up 10 minutes after the last image in the bottom right and the brightening sky and worsening conditions were causing some loss of contrast/detail. South is up.

Very nice, just waiting another hour or so before I start, cloud's just started thickening up tho, fingers crossed..

It was cloudy all night down in Selsey Keith - time for sleep catchup
