Captured through the briefest gap in the clouds this evening, Canon 50D + 100-400L Lens + 1.4 Teleconverter with Baader AstroSolar film.

Just been looking at this with my Canon IS 15x50's and DIY Baader solar film bino filter (primarily to test the filter for my upcoming trip to China) and this group appears to have grown in size. The huge and very prominent spot on the right has a chain of sunspots arcing away from it to the left. Impressive

Hoping for lots of prominences during totality now
