Another NLC show :)

I was thinking about going to a local hilltop view with a mind to catch some NLC's but decided not to go. I'm sorely regretting it now as we had a reasonable show tonight. Whilst setting up my main imaging gear I noticed what I thought looked like NLC's poking above the roof line. I rushed down to an open spot near to my house and snapped the following with my 50D

Beautiful captures Kevin. Saw them last night too but nowhere as clearly defined. Great setting, I think the foreground adds charachter.

Mearest hint here but nothing that could be captured properly due to the increasing normal cloud...

I agree with Brendan its nice to have the treeline in the pics

Unless you can travel quickly... everytime I have gone soemwhere to try and capture the dusk set they haven't put on a show...
