Hello All,

Stayed up all night for this one, didn't need the chainsaw in the end;).

Registax'ed 640 x 480 avi, Fuji S5700 with 15mm ep and 2x barlow on Skywatcher 250px. Shame I couldn't get more detail but the atmosphere was a tad turbulent this morning. Might try again later in the week see if I can do better.

Many thanks for all the comments guys and gals, makes it worthwhile posting. Especially when you're a newbie like moi.:)

Something I found a few nights ago when imaging, http://stargazerslounge.com/imaging-image-processing-help-techniques/80877-improve-your-imaging-maybe.html bearing in mind I only have my fuji S5700 at the moment, Canon dslr on the way later in the year when funds allow:headbang:, and also I'm still working out what eps are good. So far, along with the ones that came with the scope I've had the meade qx20mm, read here http://stargazerslounge.com/equipment-help/79449-repair-junk.html which I have to admit was very good, I've also got a 15mm clone and a meade 5000 super plossl, which performs excellently, something they don't shout about.. and I don't know why is it has a fine tuner focuser built into the body of the eyepeice. I take the soft rubber eyesheild off it and it's parallel sides allow me to use my camera attachement. Using that next time as I anticpate giving me better results than the clone 15mm QX ep I used for this. My previous attempts at the other gas giant are here

Quick PS to my previous... would anyone recommend the type of filters I could use to bring out more contrasting colours. What I'm talking about is losing the overall sandy coloured image and maybe highlighting the red spot etc.
