Ah yes, the Bubble and M52, what a great combo they are. Nice shot of them too.

If you wanted to eliminate those gradients around the edges, you could either get some flat frames, or use one of the software based methods, like GradientXtermintor or Pixinsight Lite edition.

Darks wouldn't have done anything for the gradients.... as TJ said you need to take flats or use one of the software methods....
