Wiltshire Astronomical Society - June 2009

Recommended Posts

This month the guest speaker is....me

I will be doing a talk called "Three Sides to the Sun", which covers the history of observational astronomy of our nearest star, imaging, imaging tips, modification of PST's and other such topics, as well as a round up of all things solar in the market. This will be followed by a brief demo of image processing solar images, and some shots from a recent trip to Mount Palomar Observatory, along with info on what that was all about and how others may be able to get involved.

Usual location in Seend Wiltshire

Thanks Daz

It went on a lot longer last night than usual. Andy wanted to do his thing on the eclipse..

Generally the meetings are 90mins tops, but the AGM also dragged it on a bit
