Just wondering if you can use a barlow for prime focus photography...without the eyepiece?

Warthog's was very efficient reply:icon_salut:. Wish politcians would do that.

Anyway it seems that the 5" entry level newts (from Celestron/Skywatcher) don't wind in war enough for prime focus photpgraphy so a barlow is a useful workaround.

Obviously, you will get increased maginification, but a loss of field of view.
