Hello Richie.

Open up your red master and your Ha master.

Copy and paste the Ha onto the Red as a layer on top.

Set the blend mode to lighten.

Flatten the layers.

Construct your LRGB image as usual, using the Red/Ha as the red channel.

It's very straightforward....how are you trying to do it?

Exactly like that - but the Ha layer set to lighten doesn't make any difference to the Red layer. Confused!

The Ha data is alot darker than the Red layer I captured - maybe thats the problem??

That'll be it Richie.

You nned a good Ha image for it to work properly. You can also add the Ha with the layer blend set to 'Normal' and then adjust the opacity.

That's what I normally do Arran, although if you're adding it as a 'lighten' layer, when you flatten the layers you can equalise the backgrounds to match the green and blue at that stage.
