Light polution filters for DSLR

Hi all

I have a 150mm skywatcher scope and a cannon 1000D EOS. And would like to add a light polution filter to the system. 

I am at a bortle 5/6 sky

Which one should i buy.? 2" or 1.25". I image with a 2" focuser. Max price 50 euros.

There are two ways to go with filters for astrophotography: 2" or clip in.  The DSLR will need at least the 2" to get full benefit of the aperture though it will suffer from some vignetting with it.  With a clip in you may get better coverage of the targets.

There are other brands and types out there so really you need to determine what type of lights you need to block, LED lights have different frequency ands than do sodium vapor so the 2" one i list here may not work on LED lights.
