What is this?

Hey there, I'm a total noob to sky watching (and am new to the forum), and I've taken some decent photos recently when conditions have been clearer, but I have a question. I went to do something, and a faint glow caught my eye. I didn't look at the whole of the sky, but what is this? I took the pic on my iPhone with 10s exposure. Is this the moon, or something else? I'm curious to know. Sorry if this is a stupid question, I'm not intending it to be.
