Sky-Watcher AZ GTi - can’t download MCF firmware file

Hello

I am trying to download the latest firmware for my az gti on my windows laptop, however I can’t open the MCF file to do this. 

Does anyone have any suggestions please?

You don't "open" the firmware, it needs to be uploader to the mcb using the firmware uploader. Download the motor controller firmware uploader and use that to update the firmware.

Does your mount suffer from any of the issues that the new firmware addresses ?   Unless the mount isn't performing as it should then there is no real need to update the firmware.

Glad to hear you resolved the issue - the binary file is uploaded via the PC application as you found out.
