Cassiopeia panorama: from Pacman to the Ghost and onwards

This is a two panel mosaic of some main events in Cassiopeia. It contains eight objects from the Sharpless cataloge, from Sh2-180 to 187, the most famous being Sh2-184 (Pacman) and Sh2-185 (Ghost). The blue structure to the right is the rarely imaged supernova remnant SNR G126.2+01.6. You can see my RASA8 image of it here: https://www.astrobin.com/l9heha/. Near the top is the open star cluster NGC 457.

Caught though IDAS NBZ filters (= Ha + Oiii) with my Samyang 135 (with Omegon veTEC571) piggybacking on my dual-RASA 8 rig (with ASI2600MC) on 4 Dec and 15 Jan. RASA 8 data has then been added to the main objects (as a 50% starless layer). Totally about 20 hours processed in PI and PS with the new XT tools of course.

Cheers, Göran
