andrew63
Well I just witnessed some amazing formations in the sky, perhaps related to the nacreous clouds. Started in the west, the colours gradually moved towards the east, above the moon, and then low on the northern horizon. It was kind of like watching an aurora display in daylight! Lasted for around 15min taken with iPhone in the garden - better than any Christmas illuminations. FenlandPaul
Beautiful Andrew. It was a truly remarkable sky for what seemed like a couple of hours - the post-sunset glow just hung around for ages. Great capture.
Leo S
Lovely sky Andrew. I managed to see the PSCs on Thursday, but while we were out shopping, and no proper camera with me. Also spotted some suspected PSCs earlier on today, but they were in the east, so very little colour.
andrew63
For me it's been a year for transient events. Most of my highlights have been naked eye or phone - just looking up and observing!
