Virtual Moon Altas

Does anyone use this software to look at targets on the moon before observing ???

I've just downloaded it and had a little play with it and it seems quite good.

Would be interested to hear what experience others have had with it.

At least It gives me a chance of finding and knowing what I'm looking when I look at the moon.

I use it quite often. I also use the NASA Dial-a-moon facility: NASA SVS | Moon Phase and Libration, 2023 and the excellent 21st Century Atlas of the Moon by Charles Wood and Maurice Collins as a more detailed reference.

If you want a more detailed named map, try the LROC quick map. I can’t provide a link at the moment as I’m on my phone but it should be easy enough to find.
