Another 25th November Aurora

The solar image I posted on 24th November  prompted me to keep an eye on activity and I was rewarded by a showing around 6.30 pm on 25th November. Unfortunately there was a fair bit of cloud around and also bright moonlight which diminished the effect which was barely visible to the naked eye. But good to finally get one! Times were 6:25 pm for the upper image and 6:32 pm for the lower. Canon 700d at 17 mm focal length, f2.8, ISO1600, each single 2second exposures.

Yes, I'm about 208m asl and 55 degrees North, these photos looking North over the Tyne valley above Hexham Northumberland.  Pity about the cloud and moonlight.  But hopefully more aurorae to come.
