Easy targets

Hello everybody, having recently purchased a skywatcher 130 ive really been enjoying the clear sky's round my way!! ive ordered a copy of turn left at orion which im waiting for and was just wondering in the mean time if anyone could recommend a few objects i could try and find??

Like many others here I started with that 'scope and it will give you some great views.

Here's a few that I enjoy looking at;

The globular clusters M13 and M92 in Hercules

The Ring Nebula M57 in Lyra

The Double Cluster

Alberio - a lovely gold / blue double star

And of course Saturn and the Moon

Download Stellarium if you haven't already, it's a great free planetarium program - Stellarium
