Starsense Explorer Cradle

Has anyone figured out a way to affix the star sense cradle to a twilight one Mount?

I believe that mount is like an AZ5  alt/az mount. In that case you can just adapt the Starsense holder with a finder shoe and mount it directly to the telescope itself.

I have seen that but it makes the scope back heavy.

What scope(s) and which of the Starsense units?

Some have a side mounting option, like the DX130AZ, which might be easier to make an adapter for your mount.

If there’s a place on your mount that moves congruently with each axis movement of the telescope then that would just fine like some of the Celestron DX mounts.

Yes, I totally agree with that. It is much more preferable to have it that way rather than on the finder saddle. Also, putting it on the actual OTA near where the dovetail bar is aligned is more stable

If the finder foot is over one side of the scope, a multifinder attachment can be useful to shift the phone holder to the other side for better balance or convenience.  Not sure this is helpful in this case though.
