A mix of HEQ5 and EQ6 extension tubes for my AZEQ6

Hi all,

I hapened to have an extension tube for a HEQ5 and another for an EQ6 and noticed that both their central tube have the same section and they only vary in the upper and lower elements to which it is attached, as you can see in the following picture:

Since I wanted to have the head of my AZ-EQ6 a bit higher (and couldn't increase the height of the tripod's legs due to my obsy's lack of space) I decided to mount the longest tube, which belonged to the HEQ5 extension, together with the AZEQ6 terminals and this is how the mix looked like:

So now my scopes can clear the border of the observatory in the home position, while there is room enough to close the roof when the mount is settled to the parking position:

Now I need a clear night to try this setup 🤞.
