The Coathanger

Things didn’t quite go to plan yesterday and clouds rolled in before it was fully dark. I did however manage this. Pencil and water markers on white paper. I realised that blue and orange are the inverse of each other so the blue stars were coloured orange and vice versa. A quick photo followed by inverting colours gives blue and orange stars on a black background. Worked well I felt.

I can see why you have sketched it,

Welcome to the sketching road, it’s long and winding , but great pleasure can be had on the journey.
Don't do yourself down, the stars are in proportion and the correct pattern.

I sketch from time to time, just in pencil for record purposes, it’s still not artistic even after a few years.
