Quick Park question

Hi all - when mount controllers (eg. EQ6, HEQ5... ) PARK, are the axes moved to 0 and 90 degrees to the local lattitude - or is it with reference to something else?

For EQ6 when I last used my handset, it was as you describe but there may be other park positions now.

Lots of use EQMOD which permits a definition of pretty much whatever parking position you want - I believe it is obsy owners who take advantage to park in a position that lets the roof close.

That's cool, so either it's zero/ninety or user-defined anyway so you can set it that way if needed? Perfect ...

User definition available with EQMOD, don't know what is possible with the handset, other than "normal" home, since I've not used it for 18 months.

No - as long as it's available, whether by default or a user setting then we're good to go ... have to keep ahead of the pack you know!

The older, non-updateable handsets only allow one park position, weights down - scope up pointing at NCP. The newer versions allow the user to choose a park position.
