Apt v4.17 update

Apt ,Beta  4.17 now available , platesolve3 is now incorporated and it solves very quick, faster than Astap and thought that was quick , easy to setup 5gb download though .

I installed it at the weekend. Just playing with PS3 at the moment. 

A new star database, D50, has just been released for ASTAP too. So playing with that also.

What difference is the D50 database?

It is one huge database that spreads across more image scales and depths than any one of the previous databases. They will be withdrawn and a new range of databases introduced. This graphic has changed since I looked a couple of days ago. It did compare the new ones to the old ones, now it' just shows the new databases compared to the widefield W08 database.
