Weird Things In The Sky

This thing looks really strange; seen above the sky in Hawii at the Manu Kea observatory.  Suggestion that it may have been associated with a space x satellite release! Kind of pretty.

Looks like RCS thrusters firing for sure, the pulse in the beginning at least. The spiral one could be de-spinning a spin stabilized spacecraft or spinning one up for a burn, if its backlit by the sun it will be easily visible like this from Earth.
