12 x 300" (1hr) HaOiii with IDAS NBZ Filter

Explore Scientific ED102 CF with 0.8 reducer @ f5.6

That's a beauty Andy.  The Ha regions look superb.  The faint outer regions of M33are always difficult to handle and you've done a great job except there is a slightly smeared look from noise reduction.  Have you tried Russ Croman's NoiseXterminator?  It is brilliant and is available for PI as a plug in for a moderate fee.

Hi Martin, many thanks. Often wondered how much noise reduction is too much, but yes I'm using all of Russ's tools. Might dial it down next time.
