Panel 1 of 4--Red stack complete

I am planning on doing a 4 panel mosaic of the Virgo Cluster.  I am posting to test the integration time.  This is 270 60 sec subs (red), taken with FSQ 106 and .6x reducer and ASI 1600 camera.  I think 4.3 hours is sufficient per channel--at least for red.  I wanted to make sure that the framing of this panel is good for a stand alone image if the mosaic idea doesn't work.  So far, so good, I think.

Good job in which I'm really intrigued.

I have same camera and similar lens.

Usually my setting are 75gain with 60" (RGB).

Are you using the same?

Just out of curiosity, are you going to take also luminance? Just my thoughts, 4 hours is really a lot for color channel why don't invest in L looking for details?

Clear sky!

If I don’t take 4-5 hours per channel RGB the data is very noisy. My sky is poor. I will take lum if transparency permits it. Sometimes I can’t even take 30 sec lum subs without blowing out the frame
