First attempt at imaging Leo Triplet

Hi Guys

My first attempt at imaging the Leo Triplet last night.

Thought i would try the ST102 frac rather than the C8N newt due to wider FOV.

The first quarter moon meant the skies were not really ideal for this.

Anyway, quite pleased with the result.

I cropped the original image to about 70% ish.

I was trying to work out what was going on with the "stars" in the image... did you crop off the left hand side of the image by any chance?

You are absolutely right.

i cropped off the LHS of the image because my framing of the image was not right.

The triplet was in the RH corner of the FOV.

My error !!
