Revisit to Bodes Cigar (More subs added)

it was clear last night, so I revisited M81 and M82, with the plan to grab a load more subs. If I hadn't spent nearly an hour faffing about trying to find them, and used my 24x80 finder earlier, I'd have got over 2 hours instead of only 1 hour 40 minutes... Still never mind...

So, adding 34 x 180s to the original 59 x 20s, darks, flats and bias on both sessions...

I've got something extra in this one, that wasn't in the first stack... upper left.

Wow John you are certainly getting good at this. Image looks very smooth and natural just the way I like it.

Thanks very much Mick. I think there's a little hint of red (or wishful thinking ) beginning to show in the Cigar, I'm hoping for another clear night and get some more data to add in.

I agree John I have just enlarged it in PS and you can just make out a central red stripe. It's feint but it is there.

Would filters bring this out more or is it just there's not enough subs.

I don't know Mick. I'm using an unmodded camera, so if that's Ha it's just exposure time. So far I've only used a Skywatcher LPR filter.
